Saxojoe is the stage name of Jeroen Kraaij, a Dutch saxophonist, ArtEZ conservatory trained, with more than 2,000 performances behind him. He plays weddings across the Netherlands and abroad, from weddings in Spain to festivals in Austria, and communicates in English with you and your guests. The repertoire runs from jazz and soul to house and dance, tailored to each moment of the day.

The ceremony
Acoustic saxophone, often with guitar, as you walk in, during the vows and the signing. It sets the tone without taking over.
Drinks and dinner
Relaxed live sax during the reception and the dinner: jazz, soul and easy classics while your guests talk and eat.
The party
Once the dance floor opens, Saxojoe plays live over the DJ, so the songs everyone knows get a live layer.
Made for every kind of venue
Dutch weddings happen everywhere: castles and country estates, beach clubs on the North Sea coast, canal boats in the cities, barns and orchards in the countryside, and monumental halls in the old town centres. Each venue asks for something different, and that is the first thing we talk through.
On a terrace at sunset the acoustic duo fits; on a boat a compact setup that runs on battery power; in a grand hall a fuller sound. The setup is small, fits in one car and is ready in fifteen minutes, so it works indoors and outdoors, with or without a stage.
